There is a new function in Windows Vista that can restrict user’s administrative rights. An Australian security company says that it will be such a nuisance that users will disable User Account Control (UAC). Also, the UAC already has five security holes that can allow malware writers to get into the computer running Vista.
Microsoft was pushing that Windows Vista was going to be much more secure than its predecessor XP. This claim is becoming less and less true as teh days go by and the UAC is just one reason.

Forefront, Vista’s security software was built as the only one built for Vista. Microsoft did not let Symantec and McAfee see Vista’s code to build their own well-known security software until very late in the process. This was done for “security” reasons. By cutting off the competition Microsoft may be making their new operating system more vulnerable than before.

Do you want to upgrade to Vista today?
