It looks as if the format wars may again be decided by the adult film industry.  They were the ones who decided to use VHS instead of Beta Max, now where’s Beta Max.

At this past week’s Consumer Electronics Show porn moguls seemed to be in favor of the HD-DVD instead of Blu-Ray.  They citied the expense of producing the Blu-Ray discs.  Although Blu-Ray offers more options and is a better product, the stuck with the cheaper to produce HD-DVD.

So will history repeat itself?  We’ll have to wait and see.
