It looks like the ban that was lifted on wikipedia was short lived. Web surfers had about a week to view the popular wiki site before Chinese authorities blocked the site in severeal parts of China on Friday.

The many free-speech advocates praised the lifting of the ban are now voicing their opinions again.  Some of those people figured the ban would be temporary, they were right.
