I’ve hooked up star ratings to the site.  Now after you read a story rate it.  The better understanding of what you guys like (through the stars) the more I’ll write about that stuff.

A British company called Hutchinson, or 3, announced yesterday they are joining up with Skype, Sling Media, Yahoo, Nokia, Google, ebay, Microsoft, Orb, and Sony’s Ericsson to mobile services at one flat rate.

The “X-Series” will allow you to get free Skype-to-Skype calls from a PC or another X-Series user. You can also; search Google and Yahoo, use MSN Messenger, watch TV (if you have a Slingbox at home), and buy & sell on eBay.

A lot of this can already be done, but it will cost you. With this new partnership you can get all of this for a flat fee. Although 3 isn’t mentioning pricing yet I’m sure any fee would not drive power users away.

As of right now 2 phones will be available for this service, but that will also change soon. Maybe someday this type of service will get to the US.
