It’s amazing that a rock musician would risk his life to tell the stories of soldiers, families, children, Iraqis, israelis, Palestinians, rock musicians, metal muscians, hip-hop artists, doctors, cab drivers, activists, and anyone else willing to talk. You know what they all wanted? Peace.
Franti tells the story if his short stays in Bagdhad, Isreal, and the Occupied Territories and how he met real people to show the human side of war and how we all want is war to end. Peace doesn’t seem that too far away, but as the movie ends with, we need to “stop, talk, listen, now, please, believe”. If you want to really see how wars affect people and what the people you only “hear about” in the news have to say, watch this movie.
