Where do the Superbowl losers’ hats go?
By now I’m sure you realize (or hope you do) that apparel with the Superbowl logo and “Champions” are created weeks before the big game. Since no one can predict the winner, companies make clothing and accessories with each team’s logo on it. You may be asking yourself: Where does the clothes with the losing teams’ logo on it go?
It seems that the NFL has deemed that those items never appear on TV or on ebay…or American soil for that matter. Those clothes get shipped to countries as donations to people who need the clothes to survive.
It’s ironic that on one of the most glutionus day in America clothes we can’t wear go to people who can’t even afford to eat anything, let alone beer, buffalo wings, pizza, or nacho chips.
