Support the FAIR USE Act!The FAIR USE Act would remove some of the entertainment industry's most draconian anti-innovation weapons and chip away at the Digital Millennium Copyright Act's broad restrictions on fair use. Take action to help restore balance in copyright now.

  1. They can’t track you. Even if there is no “big brother” out there you can set your mind at ease
  2. She can’t track you. Your old lady won’t be able to see what your spending money on. You won’t get caught going to bars & strip clubs or buying her flowers & jewlery
  3. no debt. if you pay with cash you pay with the money you have not what you don’t have
  4. It looks cool. imagine rolling up and dropping $120 in cash for groceries. How cool does that look?
  5. Learn to budget. You may not live right around the corner from your bank (who doesn’t charge for ATM use) so you may need to hit up their ATM once a week and figure out what you need for the week.
  6. Where did this money go to? You won’t catch yourself staring at your monthly credit card bill wondering, “Where did I spend all of this money?”
  7. Returns. If you pay cash for something you can give them the original receipt & they can get the cash back…not store credit.
  8. Security? Don’t worry, your credit card information is not on it for someone to come across, why? Because you paid cash

Delay on AppleTV

tech Comments Off

For those of you who don’t know what AppleTV is:  It’s the other gadget Steve Jobs presented at MacWorld.  Unlike the iPhone (which is stealing the spotlight) the AppleTV seems to be a more affordable and useful product.  While people have been talking about the iPhone I’ve been awaiting news from the AppleTV camp.  Yesterday was not a good day for me.

It looks like the AppleTV’s release date has been pushed back to mid-March.  According to Apple PR Director of Mac products Lynn Fox, “Wrapping up Apple TV is taking a few weeks longer than we projected, and we now expect to begin shipments mid-March.”

The AppleTV is being released as a media center with a 40GB HD, network capability along with digital and analog outputs.
