Instant FM — USB TiVo for radio

I came across this device yesterday.  Although I won’t be screaming for my life like the woman on the left, it would seem to get me excited too.

The Instant FM Music device claims to record live FM broadcasts, search songs on the radio, and do it all for under $50.

It uses a USB device that has a retractable antennea that can scan RDS information (that’s what radio stations use to send out song data) so you can listen and record any program or song you want.  Best of all, it seems to be DMCA compliant.  We’ll have to wait and see.
